Day 1 Kunming
Upon arrival at the airport, your tour guide awaits you with a warm smile in the arrival hall. Enjoy a seamless transfer to your hotel via private car and driver. Take the remainder of the day to adjust to the surroundings, delve into city exploration, or simply unwind and recharge for the upcoming tour.
Day 2 Stone Forest-Yuantong Temple
Begin your day with an 85 km drive to the stunning Karst landscape of the Stone Forest. Explore the Greater Stone Forest, marveling at the gray-black stone peaks and enjoying a panoramic view from a pavilion. Discover the legendary tale of “Ashima” in the Lesser Stone Forest. Return to Kunming to visit the 1200-year-old Yuantong Buddhist Temple for tranquility. Then, wander through the vibrant Green Lake Park, observing locals practicing tai chi and witnessing migratory black-headed gulls in November or December.
D3 Kunming-(Bullet Train)-Dali-Cangsha Mountain-Erhai Lake
Take a morning bullet train to Dali(2hours)for a vibrant day aheadExplore Xizhou Village, home to the Bai minority, with its traditional houses and attire. Admire ancient architecture and immerse yourself in local customs. In the afternoon, bike along Erhai Lake, soaking in the scenic beauty of flowers, the azure lake, and the majestic Cangshan Mountain. Refuel with lunch at a popular local eatery.
Day 4 Dali-Lijiang
Your personal guide and driver will escort you directly from Dali to Lijiang. After lunch, explore Lijiang Ancient Town, a well-preserved minority city inhabited mainly by the Naxi people. Admire their traditional crafts such as silverwork, leather goods, textiles, and local snacks. Wander through the charming streets, and climb Lion Hill for a panoramic view. Visit the picturesque Black Dragon Pool Park, famous for its view of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. Spend the night in Lijiang Ancient Town.
Day 5 Jade Dragon Snow Mountain-Baisha Murals
Explore the sacred Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, revered by the Naxi people. Take a scenic cable car ride and marvel at the diverse landscape of forests, meadows, and clouds. Indulge in a traditional Naxi lunch at a local family-run restaurant, where you can learn to make Naxi pancake (baba) and sample other delicacies. Discover the ancient Baisha Murals depicting the religious history of China. Engage with a Naxi shaman in Baisha Village to delve into their mystical culture, language, and music, experiencing their deep connection to nature and community.
Day 6 Lijiang-Tiger Leaping Gorge-Shangri-La
Your guide and driver will take you from Lijiang to Shangri-La, with a stop at Tiger Leaping Gorge en route. Marvel at the breathtaking Jinsha River cutting through the narrow valley, where legend has it that a tiger once leaped across the gorge. After lunch, continue the journey to Shangri-La, ensuring a smooth adaptation to the high altitude of 3200 meters with a relaxing rest at the hotel.
Day 7 Songzanlin Lamasery-Pudacuo National Park Tour
Explore the pristine beauty and spiritual richness of Shangri-La. Marvel at the grandeur of Songzanlin Lamasery, reminiscent of the majestic Potala Palace, housing sacred Buddhist relics and statues. Engage with the welcoming lamas, gaining insights into their lifestyle and beliefs. Venture into Pudacuo National Park, home to lush forests and serene lakes like Bitahai and Shudu, offering a glimpse of untouched natural splendor. Immerse yourself in this enchanting oasis and stay overnight to fully savor its tranquility.
Day 8 Shangrila-Departure
At the end of your trip, your tour guide, driver, and vehicle will pick you up from your hotel and take you to the airport. They will help you with your luggage and check-in process, staying with you until you reach the security checkpoint to bid farewell.

Notice On Tranportation:
1 Service starts from arrival pickup to departure dropoff. The price is based on this fixed itinerary, not the one for the whole day use to go anywhere we want. If use it to visit extra spots which is not in the itinerary, need to pay extra for the service.
2 The private transportation we hired is not allowed to enter Zhangjiajie National Park&Mt.Tianmen which offer their own shuttle buses. There are local villager’s vans inside the park,but their cars have no insurance covering if accidents happen, so we choose not to hire,additionally, the price is expensive.
3 In busy tourism season, it may be not the same van to serve us for everyday. The company has a few vans going around at different areas or spots. There nearest one probably will be assigned to offer the private transportation service for us.

1 Hotel ( Book on your own online following the location of each day in the itinerary. In this case, you will have more options to choose to meet your preference.
