Day 1 Kunming
Welcome to Kunming, China’s Spring City! Upon arrival at the airport/train station, your local guide and driver will greet you and assist with hotel check-in. For afternoon itineraries, aim to arrive before 10:00 am.Explore the Yunnan Nationalities Museum, showcasing 25 ethnic groups with over 20,000 cultural relics. Then, marvel at the Western Hills, known as the “Sleeping Beauty Hills,” offering scenic walks and ancient temples, including the must-see Dragon Gate for panoramic views. Return to your hotel after the tour.
Day 2 Kunming-Stone Forest-(High Speed Train)-Dali
Start your day with a guided tour of Stone Forest, a UNESCO World Natural Heritage site renowned for its stunning karst landforms. Explore the Greater Stone Forest, marveling at the towering stone pinnacles and iconic peaks, including the famous “Ashima.” Then, venture into the Lesser Stone Forest to appreciate the beauty of the landscape and hear the romantic legend of Ashima. D3 Dali
Begin your day with a pickup from your hotel by your guide and driver. Start with a visit to Dali’s iconic Three Pagodas and Chongsheng Temple, dating back to the 10th century. Learn about their history and capture stunning photos of the pagodas and their reflections. Next, explore the renowned Erhai Lake, known as the “Immaculate Jade between Mountains.” Choose from a sightseeing bus tour, boat trip, or cycling adventure, each offering unique perspectives of the scenic surroundings. Conclude your day with a journey through Dali Old Town, steeped in ancient history and charm. Explore its streets, visit landmarks like Wuhua Tower and Red Dragon Well, and immerse yourself in the vibrant atmosphere of Foreigner Street. Day 4 Dali-Lijiang
Embark on a cultural journey in Xizhou Ancient Town, where Bai people thrive. Witness the bustling morning market, adorned with locals in traditional attire trading fresh produce and daily essentials. Explore the Museum of Bai Architecture, marveling at intricately designed residential complexes. Delight in Bai’s Three-Course Tea and partake in a tea ceremony. Next, delve into Zhoucheng Old Town, famed for its Tie-dye art. Then, venture to Lijiang Ancient Town, a UNESCO heritage site, and visit Mufu Palace to immerse in Naxi culture. Conclude with a stroll through the quaint alleys and vibrant Sifang Street Square. Optional: ascend Lion Hill for a panoramic view.
Day 5 Lijiang Day Tour
Start your day with a guided excursion from your hotel in Lijiang. Begin by exploring Yuhu Village nestled at the base of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, featuring quaint stone houses, traditional Naxi attire, and serene Yuhu Lake. Visit the Former Residence of Joseph Rock, an Austrian-American botanist who extensively studied the Naxi people during his 27-year stay. Continue to Baisha Village to admire ancient mural paintings and delve into Naxi and Bai cultural heritage. Conclude your journey with a peaceful stroll through Shuhe Ancient Town and a visit to Dongba Culture Museum, showcasing over 10,000 relics of Naxi culture. Finally, unwind at Black Dragon Pool Park, soaking in breathtaking views of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, weather permitting. Capture the moment with stunning photographs before concluding your enriching day.
Day 6 Lijiang-First Bend Of Yangtze River-Tiger Leaping Gorge-Lijiang
From Lijiang. Travel 52 kilometers to witness the breathtaking First Bend of the Yangtze River, a remarkable 180-degree turn formed by the Jinsha River encountering Hailuo Mountain in Shigu Town. Take in panoramic views from the observation deck before exploring the local market and Red Army’s Long March Memorial Monument.Next, journey to Tiger Leaping Gorge, one of the world’s deepest canyons, nestled between Jade Dragon Snow Mountain and Haba Snow Mountain. Explore the upper gorge, walking along a plank road to Tiger Leaping Rock for stunning views and photo opportunities. Conclude your tour with a return to Lijiang, where your guide and driver will assist with transportation to the airport or railway station for your onward journey.

Notice On Tranportation:
1 Service starts from arrival pickup to departure dropoff. The price is based on this fixed itinerary, not the one for the whole day use to go anywhere we want. If use it to visit extra spots which is not in the itinerary, need to pay extra for the service.
2 The private transportation we hired is not allowed to enter Zhangjiajie National Park&Mt.Tianmen which offer their own shuttle buses. There are local villager’s vans inside the park,but their cars have no insurance covering if accidents happen, so we choose not to hire,additionally, the price is expensive.
3 In busy tourism season, it may be not the same van to serve us for everyday. The company has a few vans going around at different areas or spots. There nearest one probably will be assigned to offer the private transportation service for us.
