For the tour, First make your way to reach Deqin,Find a hotel near Feilai Temple.then exploring the town,and relax,get ready for the trekking tour to Meili Mountain.

Day 1 Feilai Temple-(32km by bus)-Xidang-18km by foot-Yubeng (7hours)

Get up early to see if have luck on weather to see the golden summit of Meili snow mountain.After breakfast,drive from Feilaisi to Xidang Village(2 hours). From Xidang, there’s only one road leading to Yubeng. Visitors can now take SUVs directly to Yubeng from Xidang, making it easier for those who prefer not to hike.If you choose to hike, be prepared for a 7km uphill trek at over 3000m altitude. Pack accordingly, as there are limited food options along the way and they may be closed in bad weather. Once you reach the top, you’ll be rewarded with stunning views of the thirteen peaks of Meili Snow Mountain before descending 2km to Yubeng village.Yubeng, consisting of Upper and Lower villages, is nestled in snow-capped mountains with traditional Tibetan-style dwellings and rural farmlands. Basic accommodations, restaurants, and cafes are available in both villages, offering a peaceful and serene retreat away from city noise and chaos. Enjoy the tranquility and natural beauty of this magical paradise.

Day 2 Yubeng-Xiaonong Base Camp-Ice Lake-Yubeng (8 hours)

Today’s hike will take you through challenging terrain with no clear trails. Follow road signs and garbage cans to navigate. Although tougher than the Yubeng hike, you’ll be rewarded with stunning natural scenery. Trek uphill for 5km to reach Xiaonong Bas camp at 3600m, a highlight of the Yubeng trek built in 1991 by a Sino-Japanese mountaineering team attempting to climb Kawagebo. While the mountain event failed, Kawagebo gained global recognition. If you have the energy, continue another 2km to reach the picturesque Little Ice Lake at 3900m, which is snow-covered half the year and transforms into a sparkling emerald when the snow melts.

Day 3 Yubeng-(7km)-Holy Waterfall-Yubeng (6hours)

Starting from Upper Yubeng Village, hike 2km downhill to Lower Yubeng Village to experience local Tibetan culture and meet friendly locals. Then, continue hiking for 4km towards the snow-capped mountains to reach the sacred waterfall at 3650m. According to local belief, this waterfall has the power to cleanse away people’s sins.

Day 4 Yubeng-(20km)-Ninong Canyon-Deqin

After completing the Yubeng trek, you can exit by hiking along Ninong Grand Canyon and Mekong River (known as Lancang River) for 18km, descending from 3000m to 2000m above sea level. Remember to protect your knees with kneecaps. Once you reach the end, you’ll be rewarded with stunning views, making Yubeng one of the best treks you’ve ever experienced. Afterwards, return to Deqin for departure

Notice On Tranportation:
1 Service starts from arrival pickup to departure dropoff. The price is based on this fixed itinerary, not the one for the whole day use to go anywhere we want. If use it to visit extra spots which is not in the itinerary, need to pay extra for the service.
2 The private transportation we hired is not allowed to enter Zhangjiajie National Park&Mt.Tianmen which offer their own shuttle buses. There are local villager’s vans inside the park,but their cars have no insurance covering if accidents happen, so we choose not to hire,additionally, the price is expensive.
3 In busy tourism season, it may be not the same van to serve us for everyday. The company has a few vans going around at different areas or spots. There nearest one probably will be assigned to offer the private transportation service for us.
