Day1 Chengdu-Daocheng Yading
Get ready for an exciting day! Your guide and driver will meet you at the hotel and whisk you off to Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport. In just 60 minutes, you’ll touch down in the captivating Daocheng Yading. As you step off the plane, a local guide and driver will be there to welcome you at the arrival hall of Daocheng Yading Airport (4,411m) and transport you to your cozy hotel in Shangri-La Town (2,950m). The rest of the day is yours to explore Daocheng Yading and its environs. Take a well-deserved break and get ready for an unforgettable hiking experience! Along the way from the airport to Shangri-La Town, you’ll have the opportunity to visit the enchanting Benbo Monastery (3,940m). Immerse yourself in the vivid colors of this claret-red Kagyu Buddhist temple cluster, over 900 years old. Delve into the intriguing story of its establishment and the creator, and soak in the genuine dedication and perseverance of the local Lamas.
Day2  Daocheng Yading (Luorong Pasture – Milk Lake – Five Color Lake)
After breakfast, explore the Daocheng Yading Nature Reserve, discovered by Joseph Rock in 1928 and known as the “Soul of Shangri-La.” Take a sightseeing bus to Zhaguanbeng, then hike to Luorong Pasture via Chonggu Monastery. Relax at the idyllic pasture with grazing cattle, alpine forests, and clear streams. Next, hike or ride to Milk Lake and visit Five Color Lake, savoring the beautiful scenery. Then, return to the entrance and be sent back to the hotel. Rest well!
Day3 Daocheng Yading(Chonggu Monastery – Chonggu Meadow – Pearl Lake – Poplar Forest)
After breakfast, take the sightseeing bus to Chonggu Monastery as on Day 2 and hike. Stop by the temple to admire the sacred Gelug Buddhist temple architecture in white, red, yellow, and black, and learn about the interesting story of the temple and Joseph Rock’s visit. Then, embrace the lovely Chonggu Meadow and stroll on the vast grassland. Follow the transparent chanting river and admire the Xianuoduoji snow mountain. Continue to hike to Pearl Lake and enjoy the picturesque scenery. After that, go to Bang River to appreciate the poplar forest. Finally, our guide and driver will take you to your hotel in Daocheng County. Rest well!
Day4 Departure
After breakfast, your local guide and driver will take you to the airport for your onward journey. Bon voyage!

Notice On Tranportation:
1 Service starts from arrival pickup to departure dropoff. The price is based on this fixed itinerary, not the one for the whole day use to go anywhere we want. If use it to visit extra spots which is not in the itinerary, need to pay extra for the service.
2 The private transportation we hired is not allowed to enter Zhangjiajie National Park&Mt.Tianmen which offer their own shuttle buses. There are local villager’s vans inside the park,but their cars have no insurance covering if accidents happen, so we choose not to hire,additionally, the price is expensive.
3 In busy tourism season, it may be not the same van to serve us for everyday. The company has a few vans going around at different areas or spots. There nearest one probably will be assigned to offer the private transportation service for us.

1 Hotel ( Book on your own online following the location of each day in the itinerary. In this case, you will have more options to choose to meet your preference.
