Day 1: Chengdu-Leshan-Chengdu
Wake up to a day of adventure as you’re picked up from your hotel. Embark on a 2-hour drive from Chengdu to the UNESCO World Heritage Site – Leshan Giant Buddha, carved into a mountain cliff, overlooking the river below. This massive Buddha stands at a staggering 71 meters tall, with a 14.7-meter-long and 10-meter-wide head, 7-meter-long ears, 8.5-meter-wide insteps, and 8.5-meter-long toes. Even its small fingernails are taller than the average adult! Built in AD 713 to bless the boatmen, it remains intact after 1,300 years, thanks to a clever drainage system inside. Start from the top of the mountain opposite the Buddha’s head, then descend the narrow stone staircase to its feet for a miniaturized view. Note that during busy hours, there might be a queue to access the staircase. Afterward, enjoy a 30-minute boat ride, taking you right in front of the Giant Buddha for a spectacular panorama. Finally, return to Chengdu, filled with unforgettable memories.
Day 2: Chengdu
This morning, embark on an exciting visit to the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding, a premier panda research center and home to over 100 adorable giant pandas. Stroll along the bamboo-framed paths and witness these charming creatures, from playful cubs to mature ones, as they munch on bamboos, play, tumble, and climb. Don’t miss a visit to the panda kindergartens! And with a little luck, catch a glimpse of the precious panda babies in the nursery. Immerse yourself in the Panda Museum, uncovering fascinating facts about these gentle giants. In the leisurely and laid-back People’s Park, soak up the local way of life. Sip on Chinese tea, engage in friendly chatter, and observe the locals enjoying various forms of entertainment. Explore the lively Jinli Old Street, where time stands still amidst delectable snacks, intricate artifacts, and captivating folk shows. Your Chengdu adventure comes to a close as you are escorted to your hotel or the airport/train station.

Notice On Tranportation:
1 Service starts from arrival pickup to departure dropoff. The price is based on this fixed itinerary, not the one for the whole day use to go anywhere we want. If use it to visit extra spots which is not in the itinerary, need to pay extra for the service.
2 The private transportation we hired is not allowed to enter Zhangjiajie National Park&Mt.Tianmen which offer their own shuttle buses. There are local villager’s vans inside the park,but their cars have no insurance covering if accidents happen, so we choose not to hire,additionally, the price is expensive.
3 In busy tourism season, it may be not the same van to serve us for everyday. The company has a few vans going around at different areas or spots. There nearest one probably will be assigned to offer the private transportation service for us.
